Our Student Wellbeing Officers work collaboratively with teaching staff and external agencies to deliver a wide range of personal development opportunities to students. Our provision of personal development is targeted to address common trends that present among students and build upon their knowledge, capacity, access to support and life skills.
Personal development opportunities are an extension of the Respectful Relationships curriculum. These opportunities assist students with additional needs to gain greater social and emotional awareness and to practice interpersonal skills as they learn and grow. Key focus topic areas include problem solving, diversity, teamwork, communication, emotional awareness and help seeking.
