Our School Nurse, Nicole Geeham, offers a wide range of health support to students by:

  • Providing first aid
  • Assisting students with specific medical conditions
  • Providing health care to students with additional medical requirements i.e. support with taking medication, eating or drinking etc.
  • Assessing health care needs and developing plans
  • Implementing a range of activities to support preventative health approaches including immunisation programs
  • Facilitating health education groups such as personal hygiene, puberty and nutrition.

Breakfast Club

The school Breakfast Club is an initiative of the Victorian Government in partnership with Foodbank Victoria, delivering healthy breakfast foods to over 500 schools . Warringa Park School has been running the program for over five years to provide breakfast to students and families in need.

The Breakfast Club functions through the support of volunteers including parents, students and staff. A big thank you to all who have assisted with the program in its delivery. 

 Eat Up Program

 The Eat Up Program is a not-to-profit organisation that provides ready made lunches directly to participating schools. The program has provided the Bethany Road Campus with pre-made sandwiches for students in need. The program has assisted over 265 schools across regional and metropolitan Victoria.

Students in need can access support from the Eat Up Program with the assistance of teaching staff and referral to the Wellbeing team. For more information regarding food support, please contact a Student Wellbeing Officer on 9749 5774.
