Art programs are conducted with an emphasis on skill acquisition and addressing the sensory needs of individuals.

We seek to provide a fun, safe environment which values curiosity and exploration.

Painting, Drawing, Print-making and Sculpture are the focus of art in the junior years.
Foam
Printing, Sensory Collages, Finger-Painting, Mask-Making, Wax Resist Drawings,
Hand-Printing, Cardboard Construction, Pasta Necklace-Making.

Art skills and ideas are consolidated, and there is a greater emphasis on sustained projects.

Talking about art, looking at images and engaging in class discussion also emerges at this level.

Sensory art programs continue to be provided for specific students/groups.

Painting, Drawing, Print-making, 3D and Mixed Media are the focus of art in the Middle Years.

Splatter Paintings, Group Abstract Paintings

In the Later years:

There is a further refining of skills

More sophisticated discussion and sharing about art appreciation and ideas

Production of exhibition quality artworks.
