At Warringa Park School we have a Junior School Council consisting of 4 representatives from each of the 3 sections in the school (Junior, Middle, Senior) and 2 representatives from VCAL elected by students from within the Section and VCAL nominees who are standing and for providing a balance of girls/boys where possible. The Junior School Council meets on a regular basis. The Junior School Council is responsible for making suggestions and recommendation regarding school direction and day-to-day decision making, in consultation with staff, students and the Warringa Park School Council.

In 2009 School Captains were introduced at Warringa Park School Captains will:

 be reliable and responsible at all times
 provide student leadership
 meet and greet special visitors to Warringa Park School
